Sabrina Wienholtz, Executive Director

Sabrina is a strategic leader, educator, consultant, and facilitator with over fifteen years of experience serving the diverse constituents of the Pikes Peak Region. She earned bachelors degrees in Anthropology and Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Master of Arts in Leadership from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. An educator at heart, Sabrina served as the Director of Student Clubs, Organizations, and Leadership at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs until 2020. In that role, Sabrina designed and implemented programs geared toward creating an engaged campus citizenry. Later serving as the Director of Operations at the Ent Center for the Arts, Sabrina lead a re-visioning of process, policy, and culture while managing the turbulence of the pandemic. A champion of the community trustee model, Sabrina is passionate about connecting community members with opportunities to develop and serve in their own areas of interest. In her free time, Sabrina enjoys yoga, paddleboarding, playing the ukulele, listening to a wide variety of podcasts, and spending time with her husband, Chris, and daughter, Norah. 

 
 

Wailana Hallam, Office & Outreach Coordinator

Wailana has 3+ years of experience with nonprofit communications, branding, and marketing. In late 2018, she graduated from Colorado State University – Fort Collins with a bachelor’s degree in Communications & English and started her career journey with a local nonprofit in Colorado Springs before finding LPP. Wailana has always had a love for Colorado Springs and is passionate about helping people in our community thrive and reach their full potential. In her free time, Wailana loves to go hiking and climbing, ignoring the “do not consume raw” warning on cookie dough, and spending time with her partner, Alex and cat, Ringo.

 

Alana Lipscomb, WCLI Program Coordinator

Alana Lipscomb currently develops youth and family programming for southeast organizations in Colorado Springs. She also helps cultivate diverse leadership potential by providing professional leadership development programs and introducing participants to civic engagement opportunities, such as service on nonprofit and statewide boards and commissions. 

She is currently a student at Colorado State University-Pueblo College and served as the chair of the State Student Advisory Council for the Colorado Community College System (SSAC) from 2016-2018. She was appointed by the Governor as a Board member of the Colorado Department of Higher Education Open Educational Resources Council and served from 2017-2019. This statewide body was charged to develop a plan for resources to benefit college and K-12 students throughout Colorado. She has lobbied in Washington, DC for student rights on DACA issues and regarding food insecurity on campus and has also advocated against domestic violence and sexual assault for the nonprofit organization Tessa. In 2019, she was awarded Community Service Leader of the Year by Pikes Peak State College. She earned her Associates Degree in General Studies in 2018 and is currently working towards her bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership.  

She has participated as a youth leader for 5 years, and coaches Cheerleading in Districts 11 and 49. In her free time, she loves to travel, spend time with her family by going to arts centered programming.
